Most of the car sketches are kept as absolute secrets because of the fact that sometimes the final production and official launch of the car may not be until many years later. After the car sketches are finalized the color and upholstery of the car is carefully chosen by designers. Sometimes if they are good enough, car designs are displayed in museums.

Sketches Drawings Of Angels

When you are trying to imagine something that his pure, whole some and lives up in the skies above us what exactly do you think of? I wonder if the word angel comes to mind. Angels are said to be things of great beauty that all people should want to be one day, they also have the wonderful thing of eternal life. But that’s not the only term that we use the word angel, we also use it when someone is so well behaved we call them an angel.

An angel can be defined as one of a class of spiritual beings; a celestial attendant of God. In medieval angelology, angels constituted the lowest of the nine celestial orders (seraphim, cherubim, thrones, dominations or dominions, virtues, powers, principalities or princedoms, archangels, and angels). Angel is a conventional representation of such a being, in human form, with wings, usually in white robes.

The great thing about drawing angels, is that they can be interpreted in so many different ways by a wide variety of people. This is great for artists, because normally they do not like to be restricted, they like to use their imagination. Many people like to put up pictures of angels around their house because they represent something positive and will hopefully give off positive energy around the house. Not only that but you can do so many different things with angels or trying to depict one.

One way to do this is to draw a deceased person whose soul is regarded as having been accepted into heaven. Sometimes in drawings made by great artists you can see a story being told.If you go around to different countries around the world, it’s great to see what each different cultures imagine what an angel looks like. Because of great diversity it’s interesting to see how different artists from different countries like to show their talent of drawing angels.

So they ramble on and on, thinking that they’re teaching, but in fact, they’re just rambling.

Once you understand this, you’ll be able to tell the better teachers apart from the good ones (there are no bad teachers by the way). Figuring Drawing: Practice Makes Perfect

The best way to hone your figuring drawing skills is to practice. Even if you are primarily interested in landscape painting, you should be able to depict incidental figures to give a feeling of life to the subject. The figure is a foil to a landscape, and if it is not executed convincingly it can destroy the effect of an otherwise good canvas. Life drawing should be a part of your training, and, if possible, should be acquired in an art school. However, you can learn to draw the figure well by sketching people at every opportunity. Sketch people in the subway, in the park, at home, at play. Draw at all times.

Observe how people walk, sit, and stand; notice their gestures. You will discover that you can often identify someone you know at a distance by the way his head rests on his shoulders, and you will see the different postures of the old and the young. Make notes on how clothes are draped on a person, and how wrinkles form in a sleeve when the arm is bent, raised, and hanging at the side.

The drawings do not have to be large - from 2 to 6 inches will do. They will probably have to be small if you are trying to capture any action. Indicate the line of action first and then draw the figure around it. Some of your early attempts may resemble scribbling, but get the action.

Obtain a small sketchpad that can fit into your pocket or purse and carry it with you at all times. Fill the pages with sketches, using a pencil, a fountain pen, or the newer felt-tip pen. If you use a pencil, don’t use an eraser. You are not out to collect neat pads of figure drawings. If the line is not right redraw a corrected heavier line over it.

The advantage of using a pen is that it leads to a more direct handling. But do not be concerned about technical handling of the pen. Put the lines down as you feel them. Observe how the shape of a suit or a dress is affected by the figure.

In time your pads will contain a collection of both action sketches and studies of form. As these pads are filled you will develop your figure drawing and acquire enough knowledge to place a single figure or a group of figures convincingly in your composition.

While constant sketching will increase your powers of observation and general facility in handling incidental figures, some time should be spent learning at least the rudiments of anatomy. Study bone and muscle structure, so that you acquire knowledge of how it affects the figure. It is not essential to know all of the anatomical designations, but you should be able to identify and know the function of the main bones and muscles. You should know the relative proportions of the male and female figure. Most important is to know the working of the movable masses, that is, the head, the rib cage (chest), and the pelvis.

There is no substitute for drawing the figure from life, but you can get a great deal of help from wooden or plastic manikins, which are for sale at most art shops. They can be studied to advantage by checking with an anatomy book in arranging the various positions.

Creating a Masterpiece With a Cross Pencil

So you think you have it in you to be the next Pablo Picasso or Andy Warhol. Good for you. Though appreciating art can be enjoyed by everyone, creating art is an inherent talent that’s often born and not made. Furthermore, even if a potentially great artist is born, he still has a very long way to go before he can be taken seriously as an artist. Planning Your Layouts With Sketches

Do you use sketches to help you to plan out your layouts?

I find that if I’m struggling with the creative process and just can’t focus on what I want my end result to look like, sketches are an absolute Godsend.

Of course, the doyen of sketches has got to be Becky Higgins. Her books and articles in magazines have really raised the awareness of scrappers to this great scrapping aid. And she creates such fabulous sketches, especially for incorporating multiple photos.

I find sketches especially helpful when I’m doing traditional scrapping. Without the forgiving Undo button of digital scrapping there’s much more importance on having some sort of end vision of your layout to plan and work towards. Even if that vision is fuzzy, having a structure for the elements is something I find enormously helpful.

When I have done large theme albums such as the two 40 page Trip albums I did of my last two overseas trips, I found sketching the framework of each double page spread (and limiting myself to a small number of different colours and patterns) enabled me to pull the albums together quite quickly. I was able to keep focused on the photos, memorabilia and journaling without agonizing over the placement of all the elements. An absolute boon when all you want to do is package up a great looking large project in a relatively short time frame.

And just to make life easier there are a number of great web sites offering free sketches for you to download. Some of my favourites are Page Maps, Pencil Lines and Scrap Maps but of course there are many others and you’ll also find some great sketches in the large Scrapping web site forums.

Digital templates are now becoming popular and an extension of the Scrapbook Sketch concept designed specifically for the Digital Scrapbooker. These templates are multi-layered element blocks which the scrapper replaces with the digital papers or elements of their choice using their graphics editing software. Effectively the layout structure and design is provided for you and you choose the colours and patterns you want to use, as well as the photos of course.

Both sketches and digital templates help the busy scrapbooker to complete layouts quicker and easier than starting from scratch but still allow the element of creativity in the process that all scrapbookers seek.
